I want to implement GLP in my center
Great Little People participated in the 9th edition of the National Board of Private Education in Bogotá, sharing its model of English at an early age with educational leaders from all over Colombia.
La National Board of Private Education (MNEP) is one of the most important events on the educational calendar in Colombia. In its ninth edition, held on May 30 and 31, 2025 in Bogotá, it brought together institutions, directors, rectors, teachers and experts from the private sector with a common objective: promote educational innovation at all levels.
In this context, Great Little People was present as a transformative methodological proposal for the Learning English in early childhood education, showing how language can and should be lived naturally from the earliest years.
Representing Great Little People at the fair, Alexander Rico, an educational leader and trainer of centers in Latin America, shared with the attendees the keys to the 360º approach that drives the brand: a English methodology for children designed exclusively for boys and girls from 1 to 7 years old, with a comprehensive model that connects the classroom, teachers, families and materials.
During the conference, Alexander presented how learning English can be integrated in a natural, sensory and fun way into the daily routine of children, thanks to:
English for children is an opportunity to build trust, linguistic identity and open up the world to children out of curiosity: through Games in English, Songs in English and an active and stimulating system for the little ones.
One of the most powerful reflections of the event was precisely the need to introduce English from the sensory stage of language (1-7 years old). Scientific evidence shows that this is the ideal window for acquiring a language naturally, just like the mother tongue.
At Great Little People, we firmly believe that the key is not only “when” you learn, if not “how” learning is experienced. And that's why we defend a proposal that goes beyond the traditional book: manipulative materials, intuitive digital platforms and a constant support network for teachers and families.
In addition to being able to show our proposal, the MNEP 2025 allowed us listen. Listen to principals who seek to differentiate their educational projects, to teachers who want more dynamic resources, and institutions that value useful, natural and emotionally meaningful English.
We return home with new alliances, renewed ideas and the enthusiasm to continue building an educational network that believes in childhood as an engine of change 🌍💬
