Stories don't just teach vocabulary; children experience them, feel them, experience them with their five senses. They learn English through the emotion embodied in each scene, the adventure and the characters that come to life before their eyes. This is the perfect time for language to stop being something abstract and become a tool for thinking, imagining and expressing oneself.
Language learning stories are most effective when combined with games, songs, and reading comprehension activities where students have fun and actively participate. Thus reconstructing the story, recognizing the characters and reviewing the elements of each story: the animals, the seasons, The parts of the body in English...
How to complement a story to make the most of the story? This is what we do at Great Little People:
🔹 Stories adapted to the child's level: Designed to reinforce the vocabulary and language skills acquired in class, but always with guaranteed fun!
🔹 Complementary activities: After each story, we propose games and activities to consolidate what we have learned and continue the fun.
🔹 Karaoke: Learn by singing! Las Songs in English associated with stories, they become karaoke for children to have fun while practicing their pronunciation. 🎤🎶
